GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Psychologists will offer a wide array of superb quality mental health services to improve the patient's quality of life. They will work sometimes hand in hand with the Psychiatrist to provide the total Behavioral health package to the patient.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform psychological assessments, testing, and evaluation. (30%)
- Provide diagnosis based on assessments, testing, and evaluation. (20%)
- Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis. (20%)
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner. (15%)
- Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment. (5%)
- Collaborate with staff, and other professionals to provide the best care possible. (5%)
- Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- PA Psychologist license
Preferred
- 3-5 years experience in Psychology
Additional Employment Requirements:
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
