In this position, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, manage medications, and respond to crisis situations. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support program initiatives, and contribute to education and outreach efforts within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health and addiction concerns
· Deliver high-quality patient care including medication management and ongoing follow-up services
· Respond to crisis situations by providing timely emergency psychiatric support
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support treatment planning
· Participate in case staffing meetings and assume responsibility for assigned patient caseloads
· Support and mentor Nurse Practitioners, residents, fellows, and students
· Contribute to program development through data collection, program evaluation, and grant support
· Engage in community outreach and public health education initiatives
· Provide consultation to internal teams and external partners, including court systems
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
· Participate in meetings, trainings, and optional on-call rotation as needed

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
· Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
· Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
· Valid Missouri medical license

Additional Qualifications:
· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
· Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and interpreting medical documentation
· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and within a team-based environment
· Experience in addiction medicine or similar clinical role preferred
· Ability to provide care via in-person, telehealth, and phone-based interactions

Physical Requirements
· Perform sedentary work, primarily sitting with occasional standing or walking
· Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally for lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling
· Use hands, fingers, and arms repetitively for typing, writing, and documentation
· Maintain focus and productivity during extended periods of computer-based work
