Department Details

Bismarck location has full fabrication orthotic and prosthetic lab. Can fabricate most devices inhouse. Sanford supports further training and certification.

Summary

Provides technical support prosthetic staff and fabricates, repairs and maintains orthoses. This includes assessment of prosthetic technical requirements, formulation and implementation of fabrication, as well as follow-up and practice management.

Job Description

Proficient with current fabricating techniques, familiar with material properties and skilled in the use of appropriate equipment. Supports and conforms to professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the client. Should attend training to gain knowledge and skills used in the Prosthetic Technician role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience preferred.

Must possess a valid class D driver's license. Must maintain a good driving record.
