Job description

We have inspection orders waiting in Washington right now and not enough people to cover them, so a dependable local who signs on can stay busy from the start. If you know the city and want paid work that fits around your own schedule, the demand here is already there.

The work is simple. You go to a property, take a few photos, note whether it looks occupied, and file a short report from your phone. Most stops take ten to twenty minutes, and because the orders sit close together in the District you can often clear several without much driving between them.

You're paid for every completed inspection, by direct deposit. As a 1099 independent contractor you set your own hours and decide how many orders you take, which makes this easy to run alongside whatever else fills your week.

You'll need a reliable vehicle, a valid license, and a smartphone, plus the dependability to meet deadlines and follow client instructions, including knocking to confirm occupancy when asked. A background check is required. No experience is needed, since we train you for free and put you on the open DC orders as soon as you're set up.
