More about the role


This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Project Procurement Engineer in Monterrey with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Manage procurement activities for NPI/NPDL and development projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and procurement strategies.

  • Lead supplier and component selection, supplier relationships, tooling, samples, and phase-in/phase-out activities for new product introductions.

  • Drive cost reduction and savings initiatives through commodity strategies, DFX, Value Engineering (VE), TCO roadmaps, and negotiation support.

  • Identify and mitigate procurement and supplier risks, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and Supplier Quality teams to support supplier development, new component releases, and procurement KPI performance.

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement Engineering or Project Procurement, also Supply Chain within a technology or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong leadership, ownership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced or fluent English, both written and spoken.

  • CPSM or equivalent Supply Management certification is preferred.
