Job Description:

  •  Plan, coordinate, and implement peacebuilding activities including dialogues, trainings, and community engagement sessions.
  •  Facilitate workshops on conflict sensitivity, mediation, and reconciliation.
  • Support integration of peacebuilding approaches into broader development and humanitarian programs.
  • Implement and coordinate proper planning, monitoring, and reporting of the project activities.
  • Facilitate the natural resource management improved with landscape approach and improvement of food utilization knowledge and practices among communities,
  •  Work closely with local leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and other stakeholders to foster inclusive participation.
  • Strengthen community-based structures for conflict resolution and peace promotion.
  • Promote awareness on non-violent conflict management and social cohesion.
  • Implement and coordinate proper planning, monitoring, and reporting of the project activities and prepare work plan, DIP and procurement plan for the project.
  • Prepare and submit quality project report as per the report requirement of the project, build and maintain effective relationships with implementing partners, staffs and stakeholders during the period of this project
  • Ensure that the project beneficiaries’ identification and selection is done based on gender sensitivity and disability consideration as requires by grant protocol and women are required in this project throughout the implementation phases.
  • Support in proper budget planning and expenditure monitoring for the peacebuilding component of the project
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of project sides and ensure quality and continuity of gardens established.
  • Ensure reports are compiled or submitted in time to the team member compiling.
  • Ensure timely settlement of working cash advance to avoid delay in implementation of activities.
  • Perform any other activity assigned by his/her supervisor
