Project Manager - Transmission Line

Our Client, a leading telecommunication and power infrastructures services company with operations across Nigeria and west Africa is seeking to recruit exceptional and highly motivated professional to fill the this vacancy:

Roles and responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling the project activities and handling the complete cycle of the project manangementalling planning, organizing and managing resources up to final execution of project.

Supervising all the electrical, civil and mechanical works involved in the execution of transmission line projects such as survey, ROW clearance, civil foundations works, tower erection and stringing works and associated power substation and commission.

Planning, coordinating and controlling manpower and materials for transmission line project execution.

Coordinating with project office and other functional departments to ensure uninterrupted work from design stage to commission.

Qualification and Experience:

B.sc in electrical engineering and or its equivalent. Membership of Nigerian society of engineer, COREAN and exhibition of core practical/technical skill in transmission line will provide a district added advantage.

10 years post qualification working experience in the design, engineering and constructing of foundation, erection, stinging, earthing and commission of 132kv and 400kv double circuit transmission lines and in which two years must be the capacity of project manager in a reputable transmission company. Proficient in MS portfolio, MS project and PLS card are a mandatory requirement.

Prospective holder of this position must have ability and readiness to work at any part of the country.
