The KION Group is on its way to becoming the only true global player and market leader in the field of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions and products. Due to expansion of the Intralogistics team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager Automation to join our team.
The Project Manager ensures that all project goals are achieved within the budget: scope, quality, function, costs, deadlines, under consideration of the contractual conditions and she/he creates the project-specific standards.
The Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Managemet.
Role Purpose:
• Delivery of the project scope, conducting project evaluation and final report
• Conduct all required project team, critical & steering committee meetings
• Communication with the customer from sign of contract to acceptance
• Preparation, communication and maintenance of the project schedule
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers
• In cooperation with HSE, safety of people, systems and environment as per overall company or legislative requirements
• Monthly short term forecast review
• Monitor and manage the overall project budget. Escalate potential budget issues quickly
• Project review report preparation with support from project controlling
• Risk and opportunity management, including any risk mitigation strategies and actions
Tasks and Qualifications:
Who Are We Looking For:
- Previous experience in the role or similar
- IT Literate – MS Office
- Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)
- Knowledge of CAD/technical drawings
- Competences in risk-assessment and risk-management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are among your strengths
- Able to plan, organize and document multiple project activities
- Good skills in conflict management
- Advanced knowledge in written and spoken English
- Availability for travel in Italy up to 50% of time
