At Glance:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering warehouse automation projects that help our customers improve efficiency, productivity, and operational performance. Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, software, controls, installation, and commissioning, you will guide projects from planning through to successful completion.

You'll play a key role in building strong customer relationships, managing project performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative automation solutions while developing your leadership and project delivery expertise within Toyota Automated Logistics.
 

Your Impact:

  • Lead the execution and delivery of warehouse automation projects, ensuring successful outcomes for customers and business.

  • Take ownership of project safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and overall project performance.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project execution plans covering resources, procurement, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery milestones.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, controls, software, installation, and commissioning to achieve project objectives.

  • Build trusted customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.

  • Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, margin management, change orders, and contract administration.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and operational excellence across project delivery activities.

What makes you a great fit?

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

  • Five to eight years of project management experience delivering industrial automation, warehouse automation, material handling, infrastructure, or similar engineering projects.

  • Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and change management.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customer and stakeholder relationships within complex project environments.

  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. A PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
