Job description

Optimiza is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and lead diverse projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and ensuring that project goals align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or challenges.
  • Facilitate collaboration among team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Conduct project meetings and ensure that documentation, such as meeting notes and status updates, are maintained.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
