COMPANY SUMMARY
In Field Strategies is a national canvassing firm focused on strategic and direct voter contact through mainly door to door operations.

JOB SUMMARY
IFS is seeking an experienced project or campaign manager responsible for leading, managing and mentoring team leaders and canvassers performing door to door canvassing operations nationwide. The manager will be the face of IFS on the ground, both with the staff and with the client. He/she will be responsible for recruiting, training, coordinating logistics, and managing the day to day operations for canvassers. The ideal candidate will have experience in grassroots advocacy and campaign management. This position is a traveling position with most of your time spent deployed regionally in the US based on need.

MAJOR DUTIES
Provide leadership and guidance to team leaders and canvassersTrains team members on canvassing operations, company mission and policiesProvide constant communication and oversight to canvassers in the field; to include daily meetings and phone calls with all staff, shift tracking, daily and weekly goals, etc.Responsible for the overall strategic planning of canvassing operations in the assigned area of operationDevelops “walk books” for canvassing operationsServes as the face of IFS to the client on the groundSends nightly, weekly, or monthly reports depending on the needs of the clientCoordinate logistics for the project, to include: flights, lodging, car rentals, day to day transportation to walk books, and any other logistical needs that ariseAdvises senior IFS management of “on the ground” issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two election cycles working - in a paid capacity -on a campaign, for a committee, or for a vendorMinimum of one election cycle working – in a paid capacity - on a campaign, for a committee, or for a vendor in a management roleBasic understanding of grassroots campaigningProven ability to utilize a team to hit a pre-set goalEffective time managementThe ability to work successfully in a team sometimes for long hours and under intense pressure to meet deadlinesStrong critical thinking, interpersonal, verbal, written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
