Project Manager - Air Traffic Management

Location: Paço de Arcos - Q45, Portugal

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Airspace Mobility Solutions team in Portugal. You will play a key role in delivering projects that support innovative air traffic management solutions, working closely with customers and global teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• ​Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting customer satisfaction and financial objectives;

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and global engineering teams to ensure successful project execution;

• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and contractual compliance;

• Monitor project performance, manage risks and mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with Thales Project Management governance;

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth;

• Support bid and proposal activities by contributing to competitive, high-quality project plans aligned with Thales governance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.

• 5 years of minimum experience as Project Manager or Bid Manager;

• Strong knowledge of project management and systems engineering, with experience in project planning, risk, procurement and financial management;

• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment;

• Professional proficiency in English and availability to travel;

• IPMA or equivalent certification (nice to have).
