Do you possess a variety of technical skills and are you interested in helping people? Consider becoming U-Haul Company’s newest Project Management Technician. In this role you will install display lighting & Banners, Buildout Showroom, D&R, & U-Box Repair station, signage, as well as help to maintain U-Haul facilities to aid your colleagues in providing the highest standard of service to customers. In exchange, this rewarding position comes with excellent benefits. This is a Traveling position throughout District 27 (Parts of GA & NC and All of SC). Work schedule is 10 hour days, Monday thru Thursday. Reimbursement of Food and Lodging as per U-Haul Travel policy.


Project Management Technician Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience performing and utilizing tools and equipment in any of the following areas: carpentry, metal framing, painting, masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to facility needs.
  • Collaborate on projects or work alone as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle; adhere to all local vehicular regulations while driving

Work Environment:

The work requires observing necessary safety precautions while working around moving parts, machines for building and site maintenance. The use of protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields may be required.


Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
