Role Purpose:

 The Project Leader is responsible for leading R&D projects from concept through series production, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role operates in a multicultural, cross-functional environment and focuses on innovation, product development, quality, safety, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects related to:

• New platforms and subsystems

• New features and product design

• Cost reduction initiatives

• Safety improvements

• Quality enhancements

• Standardization projects

• Innovation and Intellectual Property

• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams.

• Drive projects from definition through production approval.

• Present progress and results in steering committee meetings.

• Organize testing activities and pilot production runs.

• Apply project and quality management tools such as:

  • Project planning methodologies

  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

  • Quality plans

  • Test plans

  • Corrective action tracking

• Ensure project targets and milestones are achieved.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or electrical engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer out of which 2 years as a project lead.  

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Analytical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

• Experience working in matrix and cross-functional organizations.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting capabilities.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and impact.
