Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction as a C&S engineer / geotechnical engineer / mechanical engineer / electrical engineer, including at least 3 years on projects of similar scale and complexity, particularly major buildings construction works and deep excavation. Relevant experience including design work.
  • Possess a degree in C&S Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or recognized degree in the relevant field by the PEB of Singapore or possess an equivalent recognised accreditation acceptable to the OIC.
  • Successfully completed at least one (1) project through the construction and handover stages.
  • Strong technical background with experience in project management and site coordination, preferably in large scale civil and infrastructure work and multi-disciplinary construction projects.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data from the Common Data Environment (CDE), EDMS, and Primavera P6 to identify project coordination risks.
  • Able to understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project requirements. Proficient in navigating BIM models and using approved Electronic Document Management System (EDMS such as Bentley ProjectWise) to review technical drawings, specifications, RFI/RFA (Request for Information/Approval) and other project related documents.
  • Able to work independently, a strong team player and capable of handling fast-paced projects.
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels and have good presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to interpret data-driven dashboards (Power BI) and to prepare executive-level presentations.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with other stakeholders.
