You’ll need to have the ability to consult with clients and internal stakeholders to review, analyse, design and deploy infrastructure upgrades, be it on premise or cloud-based solutions.
Experience –
– As a Microsoft Gold Partner, so you’ll need to have previous exposure to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365 product solutions. This includes EM-S, Intune, IaaS RDS.
– You’ll also have successfully managed and implemented on-premise Exchange and SharePoint migrations to Office 365.
– Exposure to Hyper-V server clustering and configuring high availability multi-node SAN solutions would be advantageous.
– Industry qualifications, ideally Microsoft MCSA in a Server discipline or equivalent.
– Full UK driving license.
Comfortable with the following technology –
Windows 10, Server 2008-2019, Hyper-V, Office 365 with Azure IaaS & PaaS, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, TCP/IP & Routing, Switching, Firewall, VPNs, Mac OSX, VoIP, Android, DELL, IP telecoms/SIP, WAP, Cat5e/Fibre.
The role:
As part of the role you’ll be expected to:
- Assist with escalated helpdesk tickets via telephone and remote support services
- Mentor and provide additional technical resources to the helpdesk team
- Work closely with client account managers to advice on appropriate technical solutions
- Advise and assist in the design & delivery of infrastructure solutions
- Maintain accurate records of project time expenditure against delivery targets
- Create appropriate documentation for project hand over to both client and helpdesk team
