Project Engineer

Job Purpose & Scope 

               This position is responsible for managing a project both local and regional project (New technology, Civil work, machine installation, plant rehabilitation, factory automation, production process development, etc.). The local project is covering of any process improvement & development, feasibility study and make proposal for investment, SHE requirement and other requirement from the site. The regional project is covering of the improvement project or investment project approved from the board committee. The project management shall manage all resource for a project such as manpower, materials, overhead, cost and timeline. It has to work across the function or a country.       

               The addition for this position is Knowledge Management to site‘s staffs. It has to provide some technical data for them or any assignment.

The project engineer does not have subordinator at site and will supervise and manage outsource contractors where the project is, in cooperation with Procurement section.

Key Responsibilities & Job Content 

• Project Management:

  • Feasibility study, make proposal, present and periodical report progress of the project, and ensure that the project will complete in timeline and budget.

  • Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects.

  • Plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.

• Training & Development: Assist the line manager for the people’s management such as performance management, training need analysis, training plan and training provider to achieve the business and the law requirements.

• Procurement: Assist the manager collecting project information and PM resources.

• Knowledge Management: Collecting and managing technical data for the future educations and learns
