Currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our 529 Katy, TX location.

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Review of project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements, feasibility, and procedures for accomplishing each project
• Create and or review engineering drawings including general arrangements, fabrication drawings, etc.
• Position will share existing engineer department drafting resources.
• Review specifications of engineered equipment
• Manage the project timeline to meet required delivery schedules.
• Assist project manager with required customer documentation.

Qualifications of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Previous SolidWorks experience and a desire for being hands on
• 2-5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems
• Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
• Project Management experience and team work skills
• Experience reading pressure and instrumentation diagrams
• Must be able to work independently
• Well organized and self-motivated
• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication and problem solving skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
• Great leadership abilities are essential while at the same time being a team player
