If you’re someone who sees problems as opportunities, you’ll thrive here. RESPEC is 100% employee-owned, which means we take ownership of every challenge. Here, your ideas drive real solutions. Since 1969, we’ve tackled complex challenges in energy transition, infrastructure resilience, digital transformation, and sustainability.

At RESPEC, you’ll work alongside clients to take on critical problems. Depending on your expertise, you might design infrastructure in remote locations, develop renewable energy solutions for global projects, or apply data-driven technology to improve mining and water systems.

RESPEC seeks an experienced Project Controls Office Manager to join our Mining & Energy Team in Lexington, KY.

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Controls Office Manager to play a key role in supporting the financial and operational success of our projects and office. In this role, you will partner closely with Project Managers and Program Managers to provide critical project controls and accounting support—ensuring projects are set up for success, tracked accurately, and delivered efficiently.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing project setup, budget and schedule monitoring, billing coordination, receivables support, and financial reporting. Acting as a trusted resource, you’ll help leaders make informed decisions by delivering clear insights into project performance, including weekly and monthly reporting on key financial metrics. You will also collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to strengthen project management processes, improve consistency, and drive operational excellence.

In addition to project controls, this role supports the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the Lexington office. You’ll help create a seamless and efficient workplace by supervising administrative staff, coordinating office activities, and ensuring strong support for internal teams.

This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is passionate about driving process improvements, data accuracy, and project success.

We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.
