Job description

Sherpa Kids is a global organization dedicated to providing quality care for primary school children in their local communities. With a presence in approximately 265 schools worldwide, including 60 local services in Ireland now - and growing since 2014, we strive to make a difference in the lives of over 9,000 children daily.

In Ireland, we offer Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs programmes tailored to meet the needs of national-aged children. Operating on-site at schools, our customized services feature fun, structured, and engaging daily activities.

  • Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team 

  • Own car required for programme lead 

  • Maintain the day-to-day activities 

  • Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day. 

  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children. 

  • Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year) 

  • Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.). 

  • Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year) 

  • Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 of equivalent 

  • Basic knowledge of child development 

  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written 

  • Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage). 

  • Work Permit/ VISA essential 

  • At least 2 written references checks are required before starting 

 

Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm
