Job description

Job Description

  • Supervise children during activities and free play 

  • Assist with homework and educational tasks 

  • Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day. 

  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children. 

  • Assist with games, crafts, and group activities 

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment 

  • Flexibility to work across different Sherpa Kids services based on operational and staffing needs. While initially linked to one main service, the successful candidate may be required to support other nearby services when needed.

  • Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year) 

  • Basic knowledge of child development 

  • Experience working as part of a team in a busy and fast-paced environment (desirable)

  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written 

  • Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage). 

  • Work Permit/ VISA essential 

  • At least 2 written references checks are required before starting 

Monday to Friday

Up to 22.5h in the afternoon (1:30 to 5:30pm or 1:30 to 6pm)

Additional Breakfast club hours in a nearby service
