Job Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with the Department to provide program coordination for the patient's and families as it relates to the the department programs and services. Provides high level of customer service.

Pay Range

Minimum $26.73 Midpoint $35.41 Maximum $44.10

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

* Required: Minimum one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting.

* Preferred: Three (3) years of healthcare experience.

Education

* Required: Bachelor's degree in human services, business, or related field.

* Preferred: Graduate of an accredited vocational school having successfully completed requirements for MA.

Training

* Preferred: Medical Assistant certification.

Specialized Skills

* Required: Knowledge and ability to provide appropriate patient care depending on age, cultural, and spiritual needs. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards. Advance care through development of new ideas and technology. Promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission, understanding, and exceeding patient and family expectations. Effectively solve patient care and operational problems. Role model positive and professional behavior.

* Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish.

Licensure

* Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Work Environments - Functional Demand:

Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .
