• Demonstrates use of people centric leadership to effectively motivate and coach team.
• Eventually assist, and provide training on welding various materials using Robotic, Tig and MIG welding equipment.
• Assign team members to production jobs for the shift and adjust as needed to assure meeting schedule.
• Assist other welders in maintaining production in accordance with company standards.
• Inspect team members work to ensure that work is performed in a manner consistent with established levels of quality and quantity.
• Foster and maintain an effective working relationship and environment with all team members.
• Suggest, encourage input to, review and implement process improvements.
• Request maintenance through work order process.
• Anticipate and participate in determining hiring needs, selection and onboarding of new employees and temps as needed.

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.  
• Experience working in a metal fabrication, complex assembly, engineered solutions and in a fast-paced environment is ideal.  
• Technical degree or Welding Certificate or ability to learn how to weld
• Proven track record of successfully training and mentoring team members
• Strong leadership, influence, and persuasive skills with proven ability to effectively motivate, coach, and mentor.
• Experience with assembly lines, use of visual replenishment signals, Kanban, and continuous flow manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting prints.

Pay Range:

64,000.00 - 96,000.00
