Job Description Summary

Perform supportive operative activities to production supervision to meet operational needs, backlog schedules, and maintain a lean, well-ordered production team.

Job Description

Develop and maintain work cell standard processes, workstations, and procedures for new product lines. Coordinate assembly schedule based on project milestones and act as liaison from assembly team to Assembly Supervisor and other key stakeholders. Leads team with exemplary dedication to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, in that order. Provides training and advice to team members, collaborates cross-functionally to solve problems, and acts proactively for continuous improvement in work cell and at the facility. Support site lean transformation strategy through application of 5S standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Role will focus on BWRX-300 product line execution during initial 12-18 months, may also support other new product implementation.  

  • Serve as liaison for contingent workforce.  

  • Interacts with peers, supervisor, and internal / external customers. 

  • May provide advice, training, & guidance to team members on projects. 

  • Sound decision making and problem-solving skills. 

  • Advanced electrical aptitude required, including electrical assembly and related experience. 

  • May work on focused projects or initiatives with peers from cross-functional groups. 

  • May update and create new work instruction. 

  • May solve process failures & inefficiencies and implement process solutions. 

  • May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements. 

  • May perform fabrication, wiring, and electrical assembly activities to support work cell standardization. 

Requirements: 

  • Requires 1-5 years of assembly experience, including manufacturing, wiring or electrical assembly, and/or fabrication. 

  • Ability to lead and influence a team to maintain quality and safety standards.  

  • Requires expertise in problem recognition and specialized technical skills to develop solutions and action steps to a wide variety of difficult work assignments. 

  • Requires personal initiative and proactivity to support production team and drive key metrics and KPIs. 

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, warehouse, planning, project management, and other key stakeholders.  

Pay Transparency

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position $32.70-$39.24/hr.
