Production Manager Power System IC

We are looking for an experienced and motivated production manager to take technical and product responsibilities, for the newly established business line Power System IC. As an experienced product owner after product release, you will act as the interface between Business and Operations, take product responsibility to ramp up, sustain, and lead all the cost down measures through the product life cycle to keep the product competitive in the market. The candidate will also take the lead in change / transfer projects, managing customer escalations and require to have strong analytical skills.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Be responsible for the product manufacturing strategy during the product development phase, considering the business requirement and operations boundary condition with special focus on economies of scale
• Take the product ownership after product release, define the product cost down roadmap for the assigned product portfolio and execute to achieve the product financial target
• Continuously drive the cost of sales improvement through ratio activities, e.g. yield, testing time and BoM improvements with close collaboration with the relevant production sites
• Act as PJO or PJM for transfer and change projects, in a global and multicultural setup
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with R&D, quality, supply chain, and central operation teams
• Lead focus and task force teams in case of customer escalations

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
• Proven project management experience in an international environment
• A profound knowledge about problem solving methodology
• Developed soft skills also on an intercultural level
• Fluent English skills
