Manages, directs and coordinates all or a major segment of the organization's operations in a manufacturing environment/industry, typically including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging | Oversees functions that support manufacturing operations, including engineering, supply chain/logistics and purchasing | May formulate policies, forecast requirements for manpower, technology and facilities and develop quality standards
