Magna NextGen Program

During this post graduate program which will last 24 months, you will participate in different trainings and work in different projects. As a Process Engineer you will be part of a multi-cultural business team and gain a holistic approach of the professional world of Engineering at MAGNA. You will be guided and supported by experienced colleagues and your own business mentor.

Who we are looking for

• Fluent in English and Hungarian
• Willingness to learn, develop in a manufacturing environment and take over responsibility
• First work experience through internships and/or working student positions ideally in automotive industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar (focus on automation technology)
• Strong interest in tooling, manufacturing processes, and production technologies
• Process and manufacturing knowledge covering hot forming, laser, joining and quality preferred
• Reliability, handling confidential information
• Good problems-solving skills, responsible work conduct and good communication skills

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design, implementation, start-up, and monitoring of production processes (e.g. assembly, laser, shot blasting, foaming, gluing) to meet customer and company requirements 
• Act as a technical interface with suppliers and customers, including participation in meetings, follow-ups, and process validation activities 
• Support the industrialization and launch of new products, including process setup, ramp-up, and stabilization
• Optimize production processes, cycle times, and overall efficiency, focusing on continuous improvement
• Develop and implement standardized work instructions and procedures for operators and technical staff 
• Provide technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving 
• Support the achievement of operational targets such as OEE (efficiency) and other KPIs and monitor process performance 
• Support general operational and engineering activities as required
