Production Control Supervisor

A prestigious, Jackson, MI based automotive company is currently seeking a Supervisor in the Production Control Planning department.

Responsibilities will include: training, support and backup of customer services, master scheduling, material planning, planning coordination and long term planning.  Develop, support and summarize department policy to support company policy; develop support, review and summarize biannual performance appraisals and goals & objectives.

This position requires a Bachelors degree in Business, preferably Manufacturing Supply Chain or equivalent, 5 years combination of customer services, master scheduling, material planning, planning coordination, long term planning and supervision.   Must have proven analytical ability, problem solving skills and be detail oriented; must have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; proficient MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Power Point); Release Accounting & MAPICS experience is required.  Strong project management skills desired.
