Production Assistant (System Integration)

Purpose: Responsible in ensuring a safe, efficient, and contamination-free transfer of materials from the decontamination area through the buffer zone and into the cleanroom. The Production Assistant (SI) plays a critical part in maintaining cleanroom integrity by coordinating material flow, adhering to strict cleanliness protocols, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Receive items and materials from the warehouse and transfer them to the production cleanroom area in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate and oversee the transfer of materials from the decontamination team to the buffer zone, and subsequently from the buffer zone into the cleanroom.
• Ensure the accuracy of stock counts for items and materials received, in accordance with the picking list provided by logistics.
• Notify the decontamination team, production controller, or production engineer of any discrepancies or missing items identified in the inventory list.
• Maintain regular communication with the material planner and production supervisors to ensure that material requirements are consistent with forecasts.
• Preserve the safety and security of the cleanroom buffer zone and the bay within the cleanroom.
• Engage and contribute actively in the company's continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' level/Nitec
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
