Department Overview

PSRC department handles hardware certification for all MSI brands and markets globally. Videotec team handles Fixed Video cameras


Job Description

  • Define the mandatory standards and certifications for Videotec products in relation to the reference markets. Define in agreement with marketing, the voluntary certifications and tests to be applied to Videotec products.

  • Intervene during the new product development phase to guide technical choices, ensuring they align with the standards and product regulatory requirements. 

  • Coordinate the necessary actions to guarantee the certification of products according to voluntary and mandatory standards, following this process both internally at Videotec and at any accredited external bodies, ensuring compliance with the established timelines. Guarantee the execution and, working with project managers, the successful completion of any required external tests. Create and keep updated the archive of declarations of conformity, certifications, and official product test reports.

  • Other and eventual duties inherent to activities carried out by the Research and Development Technical Office.

  • Prepare the EU Declarations of Conformity and other regulatory documents

  • Manage UL quarterly inspections, annual ISO audits


Basic Requirements

  • ATEX certification experience (flame proof and dust protection) is a plus

  • Electronic/electric and mechanical engineering background

  • CE/UKCA/UL and other world wide certification knowledge

  • Hardware type approval requirements for global markets

  • understanding harmonised EN standards in the EU (EMC, LVD, RoHS and others)

  • Google suite knowledge (spreadsheets, slides etc...)

  • AI tools (e.g. Gemini, Notebook LM)

  • ISO9001 experience also as an auditor will be a plus

  • Native Italian, communicative English
     

Target Base Salary Range: €45,000 - €55,000 EUR
