In this role, you'll ensure the flawless operation of hardware systems such as AI computers, networking gear, and data storage from the initial concept through end-of-life.
You'll collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing partners to build quality into every stage of product development, establish robust processes, and track and resolve field issues. This position requires a deep understanding of modern data center hardware, including design, manufacturing, and testing.

Responsibilities
- Own the overall product quality process across internal and external development, ensuring consistent quality through deployment and production at scale.
- Develop predictive failure models, track key quality metrics, and extract actionable insights using advanced analytics and statistical methods.
- Lead the resolution of product issues during manufacturing and field operations using structured problem-solving techniques such as eight disciplines (8D).
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and leadership, distilling complex technical data into clear presentations to facilitate informed decision-making and drive alignment on quality initiatives. Provide regular updates and reports on quality metrics, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute overall product quality strategy and assurance plans for next-generation AI hardware systems in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. Manage comprehensive product quality requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in quality, reliability, or production operations, with direct experience in new product development and qualification.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or other relevant engineering fields.
- Experience with Contract Manufacturing (CM) quality management.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and using programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to identify and resolve root causes of issues.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in continuous quality investigation and improvement using practical methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, DOE, SPC), with a proven track record of technical leadership and executive communication skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test/debug methods.
