Product Planning and Implementation Head

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Planning and Implementation Head.

In this role you will: 

• Propose and agree with stakeholders the life new product propositions, and drive and lead the development of new product and business strategy based on customer needs and economic environment to help achieve business targets:
• Drive major new product initiatives, for new product areas or segments
• Work with Distribution core teams and other local customer groups to determine high level customer requirements and potential solutions
• Proactive monitor market development, obtain market intelligence and identify potential business risk/ opportunities to management with appropriate strategy
• Get product onto pipeline of identified business and work with them on detailed product development and roll-out
• Provide technical support on the formulating of local Product Development and Pricing Policy 
• Manage key relationships with working partners and act as subject matter expert in any major product initiatives
• Help formulating local Product Development and Pricing Policy
• Responsible for driving the end to end management, implementation and delivery of key product development projects
• Manage the implementation of appropriate customer campaigns and segmentation offer strategy with channels and banks marketing team

To be successful you will need:

• Relevant experience in financial services, particularly with a combination of technical financial experience and also product development/marketing/strategic background
• Understand EC and IFRS implications on product strategy
• Proven experience of Insurance/ Retail Wealth product development, strategy development and proposition formation
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence, engage and lead in a positive and inspiring manner have the passion to drive to succeed and have the leadership to lead various functions to ensure end to end product delivery
• Previous exposure on stakeholder engagement (with Group office, with local entity senior management, with channel)
• University degree in relevant discipline
• Fellow qualification in Professional Actuarial Bodies or Chartered Financial Institute
