Product Owner (Business Background)

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional features.
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Documentation & Requirement Gathering
• Write Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD).
• Clearly define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  Document workflows, wireframes, and system architecture in collaboration with UI/UX teams.
• Collaboration & Communication.
  Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and testers to ensure product success.
• Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team.
• Backlog & Sprint Management.
  Continuously refine and groom the product backlog.
• Prioritize tasks based on business impact, development feasibility, and user needs.
• Ensure smooth agile development processes with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• User Experience & Testing Support.
• Ensure that UI/UX designs align with business requirements.
• Support QA/Testers in user acceptance testing (UAT) and bug tracking.
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to improve product features.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).
• 2-3 yrs of Experience as a Product Owner/ Business Analyst.
• Proficiency in writing SRS, PRD, user stories, and other technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey business needs clearly.
• Experience with Jira, Trello, or ClickUp for task and sprint management.
• Proficiency in Confluence, Notion, or Google Docs for knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq for prototyping and user interface design.
• Understanding of software development processes, APIs, and basic testing concepts.
• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to map user journeys effectively.
