Product Operations Project Intern (System & Quality) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Description

As part of the monetization product organization, monetization security designs business models, processes and backend product support for monetization needs. The work we do ensures that monetized content is safe for TikTok users, even as the business accelerates its monetization efforts.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on auto-moderation decisions and follow through on machine model optimization actions with relevant stakeholder teams
- Attend to escalations from Operational teams, identifying root model issues and following through on issue resolutions and model optimization
- Track and report key business quality metrics, analyze data to identify issues, and propose solutions
- Implement new quality measurement workflows, working closely with Operations, Products and Data teams in the smooth roll-out and operationalization of metric

Requirements

Minimum Qualification(s):
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong communicator in English, both in writing and speaking.
- Strong in data analysis and good sensitivity to numbers and statistics.
- Good at looking for solutions to problems, with a growth mindset and an avid learner.
- Strong in project management
