Product Manager, Search AI Evaluation – TikTok

Team Introduction:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Product Manager to join TikTok's AI Search team. In this role, you will be at the heart of building and refining the evaluation framework for TikTok's AI-powered search experience, working closely with algorithm, product, and operations teams to ensure evaluation outcomes are objective, actionable, and business-relevant.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of TikTok's AI search evaluation framework; leverage user research and data analysis to deeply understand user needs, and participate in defining experience quality goals and quantifying key issues.
- Act as the project owner to drive cross-functional collaboration across upstream and downstream teams — including algorithm, business product, and evaluation operations — ensuring that evaluation outcomes accurately reflect real user experience and provide clear directional guidance for the business.
- Support the building of an AI search evaluation knowledge base; contribute to the optimization of evaluation tools and workflows; proactively explore the application of LLMs to improve evaluation efficiency and team execution.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above; strong interest in large language model (LLM) technology and search products; prior relevant experience is a plus.
- Solid foundational project management skills; clear and efficient communicator with the ability to follow through on processes and consistently deliver on goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; highly accountable and self-motivated.
- Eager to grow rapidly in the AI product space; proactive learner who is willing to take on challenging tasks and responsibilities.
