We’re seeking a proactive, business‑minded Product Manager to serve as the technical expert and primary contact for our Chemical Pulping product line in the Valmet Pulp Energy and Circularity (PEC) portfolio. In this high‑impact role, you’ll drive proposal development, support customers, collaborate across sales, engineering, field service, and manufacturing, and help grow a critical part of our business. You’ll manage inquiries and proposals, support troubleshooting, guide product development, contribute to strategic planning, and help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and innovation. Travel is required 50–70%, including occasional international trips.

Expectations

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), strong technical communication skills, the ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and control drawings, and a solid understanding of pulp mill operations. Those with a digester and feedline systems background will be given preferred consideration but any overall pulp mill experience is valued. A customer‑first mindset, strong organizational abilities, and comfort managing shifting priorities are essential.
