The ideal Product Engineer will have experience in surface and color development.

The client's ideal candidate must be bi-lingual in English and German and/or English and Spanish and have experience with wood deco, wood surface treatments, stains, sealers and color development.

 A minimum of 3 years of automotive industry experience required and a Bachelor’s degree in wood technology, color development chemistry related field, or equivalent.

 Must have experience with automotive interior/exterior trim components.

 Excellent vision is required to determine color, gloss and surface pattern issues on interior trim surfaces.

Must be proficient in PEP applicable surface and color development tools and techniques such as, DFMEA, DVP&R, appearance and approval submission, CAD and corrective actions.

Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally.
