Product Engineer, AEM Sites
ADUS-Adobe Inc.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Do you understand how marketing and content teams actually work — and do you want to build the system that recommends what they should do next? The Adobe Experience Manager Sites team is building the next generation of an agentic Content Management System: instead of a blank editor, it reads market signals and recommends the next action to a content team — for example, flagging an underperforming page and drafting a rewrite, or spotting a content gap and generating a brief.
We're looking for someone who has lived the content-strategy problem and can also build, so our roadmap is shaped by real practitioner insight rather than guesswork.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work directly with Adobe's customers - marketing, content strategy, and content-creation automation teams - to understand how they create content today, and translate that into product requirements. Question what customers ask for rather than taking it at face value; the goal is solutions that make content teams faster and more efficient, not just what they first describe.
Prototype and validate hypotheses with customers before they become part of a productized agentic system that operates at scale -your domain expertise drives what gets tried and in what order.
Design and build systems where AI recommends the action and a human approves it where it matters - for example, the agent proposes a content brief or rewrite, but a person signs off before it publishes.
Integrate with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and partner tools such as Semrush for SEO/GEO, alongside Adobe Brand Visibility and CX Enterprise Coworker.
Share what you learn with the team, and help peers build fluency in how content practitioners think.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Hands-on expertise in marketing, content strategy, or content-creation automation, with working knowledge of SEO and GEO. This domain expertise is the core of the role.
4+ years of relevant professional experience, or a relevant university degree with equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Core Web Vitals), and comfort building and prototyping with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
Self-directed and curious: you work toward ambiguous goals, ask the right questions at the right time, and do not stop at the first plausible answer.
Nice to have:
Prior work on AI-assisted or agentic product features
Experience with AEM or another CMS platform
