Product Development Technician

Help bring new products to life

Do you enjoy practical laboratory work and want to contribute to the development of new products?

We are looking for a Product Development Technician to support our Product Development team through laboratory testing, formulation preparation, and data generation.

You will work closely with Product Development Chemists and play an important role in helping projects move efficiently from concept to validated product.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is curious about chemistry, and wants to develop their technical skills in an innovation environment.

What You'll Do

Laboratory Testing & Technical Support

• Prepare formulations and test samples

• Execute laboratory experiments following defined procedures and test protocols

• Generate accurate and reliable experimental data

• Record results and observations in laboratory systems

• Support troubleshooting and investigation work during development projects

Product Development Support

• Work closely with Product Development Chemists on innovation projects

• Help build practical understanding of new formulations and technologies

• Perform routine and non-routine testing activities

• Assist in evaluating product performance and identifying trends

Laboratory Excellence

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory

• Support the management of laboratory materials, consumables, and equipment

• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory practices and ways of working

What We're Looking For

• MBO Level 4, Associate Degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Chemical Technology, or a related field

• Laboratory experience through work, internships, or education

• Strong interest in hands-on laboratory work

• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality

• Good organizational skills and structured way of working

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Team player who enjoys collaborating with scientists and engineers

• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience in a development, R&D, or quality laboratory

• Basic knowledge of formulation chemistry

• Experience working with cleaning, hygiene, or chemical products
