The Product Development and Support department at Diagnostic Grifols S.A. is seeking a Product Development and Support Specialist to join our team.

 

What your responsibilities will be

  • Tracking the design and development of new products, ensuring that the customer’s voice is a central driver in decision‑making and that coherent input is integrated across software, hardware, and reagent components, while collaborating with other departments to maintain alignment with established product objectives. Defining requirements for the products to be developed, gathering the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Testing the instruments in development to detect errors and propose improvements.
  • Preparing and executing usability studies of the developed products.
  • Designing and writing technical information for Application Technicians and conducting training courses on the portfolio.
  • Writing user manuals for the developed products.

Who you are

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required.

  • You have a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or Science.
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in product development, with knowledge of the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry being a plus.
  • Knowledge on donor screening and/or immunohematology will be a plus.
  • You have an advanced English level
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • You excel in teamwork and possess excellent communication skills.
