We’re a Series B startup backed by Lachy Groom, Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Thomson Reuters Ventures, Cameron Ventures, and leaders at Notion, Gusto, and Vercel. We’re looking for team members to help us untangle the intersection of American industry, climate, and the economy.

You'll own product design at Ambrook and build your designs into the product autonomously. You're as comfortable prototyping in code and opening a PR as you are in Figma, and you treat coding agents as part of how you work. We care about your taste, judgment, and willingness to try things.

Product and design have changed dramatically over the last year, and we've changed with them. We've retooled ourselves around AI to clear out the busy work, give designers more time for their most fulfilling, creative work, and increasingly contribute to implementing those visions end-to-end. We're looking for someone to learn and build alongside our tight, talented design team, staying flexible as the macro shifts while shipping incredible product for our fast-growing customer base.

What we look for

• You have a track record of integrating with customers and experts to find untapped product opportunities

• You can take an idea from a sketch to a working prototype to a shipped PR

• You're fluent with design and AI tools, comfortable concepting a design proposal pitch, prototyping it into something compelling, and pairing with engineers or coding agents to build

• You demonstrate a pragmatic approach to taste and craft, flexing impressive interfaces while accommodating the unexpected constraints of industrial personas

• You're curious about and empathetic to the domain we operate in

• Your portfolio or presented works do a good job telling the story of your experience, skills, and craft

You'll report to Dan Schlosser (co-founder and head of product) and work closely with Jeff Anders (co-founder and head of design/Labs), Calvin Ku (product designer), Tiffany Yue (product manager), and Ali Aas (creative director), as well as many other diverse folks across the company.

Compensation (from employer):
$100K – $260K • Offers Equity
