Product Category Insights Engineer

About the role

As a Product Category Insights Engineer, you will play a key role in driving data-based decision-making by designing and implementing analytical tools and frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that support category growth, innovation, and strategic planning. This role bridges technical analysis, process design, and collaborative development across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Build queries and maintain analytical tools, dashboards to support product category strategy.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis and visualization.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize processes and drive innovation.

Support implementation of new methodologies and ensure data quality and integrity.

Contribute to cross-functional projects to improve forecasting and market understanding.

Tools & Technologies

You will work with a modern data ecosystem that may include:

Data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Data processing and ETL tools (e.g., Matillion, SQL)

Cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)

Statistical and analytical languages (e.g., Python, R)

Qualifications

Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with coding, data visualization and reporting tools.

Familiarity with modern data environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
