DESCRIPTION:

Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll manage and enhance strategic sourcing initiatives as a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist III. You'll provide project management to support procurement initiatives, working with cross-functional teams such as IT, shared services, and finance.

The Global Process Analyst supports the Global Process Owner (GPO) in maintaining and improving global procurement processes. This role partners with procurement teams, business stakeholders, IT, and shared services to help standardize processes, monitor performance, support system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides an excellent opportunity to build expertise in global procurement operations, process excellence, and digital transformation.

In this role, you'll leverage key procurement systems including SAP, Coupa, Ariba, and process orchestration tools such as ORO and Tonkean to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on procurement business process ownership, Source-to-Pay (S2P) process design and requirements, and project management of procurement enablement activities that support our global operations.



REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies, with strong category management expertise
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making capabilities
• Proficiency with ERP systems, spend analytics, and procurement tools
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to build consensus and collaborate across global matrix organizations
• Strong project management capabilities
• Ability to travel 25-50% as required
• Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement best practices, processes and methodologies
• Experience with continuous improvement/lean methodologies
• Demonstrated negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
