What You’ll Do

  • Manage timely and efficient purchasing of metallic raw materials (e.g., scrap)
  • Identify and engage new suppliers across the European market
  • Analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance compliance
  • Support internal stakeholders by verifying technical specifications and sharing market insights
  • Track and report key metrics to support informed decision-making
  • Ensure contract execution and coordinate optimal logistics (land, sea, or air)
  • Conduct supplier visits and manage long-term procurement partnerships

Your Profile

  • Degree: Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • Driving License: Category B – required
  • Languages: Advanced English, Advanced Italian is a must
  • Skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), data analysis, procurement tools
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to Italy, Dalmine at least 1 week / month

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, commodity trading, sales, or supplier management.
  • Experience in industrial sectors such as steel, metals, recycling, raw materials, manufacturing, logistics, or other B2B environments.
  • Proven experience managing commercial relationships and negotiating with suppliers.
