Job description

Robert is looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, sourcing suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Collaborating closely with internal departments, you will assess procurement needs and implement procurement strategies that optimize value, quality, and efficiency. Your strong analytical skills and market knowledge will be essential in maintaining supplier relationships and mitigating risks. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet company needs.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and plan purchases accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
