Apply to this jobThe Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services required to support the manufacturing of emissions control systems. This role manages supplier relationships, negotiates pricing and contracts, ensures material availability, and drives cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery standards. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing procurement experience and good working knowledge of Acumatica ERP.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, fabricated components, electrical parts, valves, instrumentation, and other production-related items.
- Utilize Acumatica ERP to analyze MRP requirements, create purchase orders, and manage inventory and supplier data.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements to achieve cost and service objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, and supply issues.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams to support manufacturing schedules and customer commitments.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, item master data, and vendor information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of Acumatica ERP experience.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory planning, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience sourcing industrial, fabricated, or engineered components.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in emissions control systems, industrial equipment, environmental technologies, or related manufacturing industries.
- APICS, CPSM, or similar supply chain certification.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Hours: 40 hours per week. HYBRID.

Salary: $95k-$105K depending on experience
Travel: Some travel required
