Process Technician

About us

Dyson Singapore is currently looking for a Process Technician to be based in our Singapore Advanced Manufacturing facility located in Pioneer to support our automated manufacturing lines.

About the role

• Monitor the production line performance (e.g. yield, quality checks) and work closely with cross functional teams to sustain the performance.

• Perform first-level troubleshooting and root-cause investigation during high rejections and non-conformance incidents in the production lines

• Support engineers in resolving daily production issues and continuous improvement activities.

• Carry out engineering builds and trials according to defined procedures.

• Perform basic defect checks and process verification as guided.

• Record process data and observations accurately and on time.

• Contribute to simple process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Provide on-the-job training to operators based on work instructions.

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organised work area (5S).

 About you

• At least 3 years of work experience in an automated line environment.

• ITC or Diploma  in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – minimum requirement.

• Willing to work on shifts and perform overtime, where required.

• Ability to distinguish between coloured wires, signals, indicators, or labels, which is required and critical for safe performance of duties.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and equipment.

• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiar with data analysis tools (e.g. JMP, Minitab) is an advantage.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
