Lead Process Excellence as Process Development Manager

Join Automation Solutions and take ownership of process development that drives performance, quality, and continuous improvement across a global organization.

In this position, you will work with stakeholders from all functions, and collaborate in a Valmet wide network of process management and quality professionals. You will lead development of a wide variety of processes including R&D, sales, and operative processes, and collaborate with other teams in a cross-functional business environment. You will work with colleagues both locally and globally.

Your responsibilities

• You will own and develop the Automation Solutions management system

• You will lead and support global Process Owners in developing and improving processes

• You will plan and coordinate internal and external audits

• You will collaborate with Valmet-level stakeholders on management system and audit topics

• You will facilitate process improvement initiatives and manage development projects

• You will manage the Automation Solutions development project portfolio.

Expectations for you

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering or other relevant field

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

• Experience in process development and management methods

• Understanding of Lean philosophy

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to lead in a matrix organization

• Strong documentation skills

• Professional English proficiency

• Proactive approach
