Job Title: Private Swim Instructor

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced swim instructor to provide personalized 1:1 private lessons and 1:2 semi-private lessons tailored to the needs and goals of each swimmer. This role also involves promoting and selling swim lesson packages while maintaining a teaching schedule of at least 5 hours per week. You’ll have the rewarding opportunity to help swimmers of all ages and skill levels build confidence, improve technique, and develop a lasting love for swimming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 30-minute private (1:1) and semi-private (1:2) swim lessons customized to individual needs and goals.
• Promote and sell swim lesson packages to clients.
• Teach a minimum of 5 hours of swim lessons per week.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for swimmers of all abilities.
• Track swimmer progress and provide updates to clients to celebrate achievements.
• Emphasize water safety and encourage the development of strong swimming skills.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Swim Instruction (Red Cross or equivalent).
• Proven experience in teaching private and semi-private swim lessons.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships and effectively promote lessons.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
• Passionate about swimming and helping others achieve their goals.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $30–$35 per hour, based on experience.
