We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal LLM Researcher to lead our research efforts and drive innovation in the field of language modelling.

As a Principal LLM Researcher, you will be responsible for leading and shaping our LLM research agenda. You will work closely with a team of talented researchers and engineers to advance the capabilities of our language model and contribute to the development of groundbreaking AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Research Leadership: Lead and manage a team of LLM researchers, guiding their work and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in language modeling.
  • Research Strategy: Develop and execute a research strategy to advance the capabilities and performance of our LLM, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of natural language processing.
  • Model Development: Collaborate with the research team to design, implement, and improve the architecture and algorithms of our language model.
  • Benchmarking and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous evaluation and benchmarking of the LLM's performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving enhancements.
  • Publication and Collaboration: Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals. Collaborate with academia and industry partners to stay at the forefront of AI research.
  • Innovation: Explore new directions in language modeling, including multi-modal understanding, zero-shot learning, and ethical AI, and drive the integration of these innovations into our LLM.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior researchers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of research work, results, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing research teams in language modeling or AI.
  • Extensive experience in developing and improving large-scale language models.
  • Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals in the field of NLP and AI.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI research.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ethical and responsible AI research mindset.
